The Latest 9/11 ReportFebruary 16, 2005Last week it was announced that an additional report from the 9/11 Commission—intended to be an addendum to the report released last summer—was declassified and is available through the National Archives. While the report was slated to be released after its completion in late August 2004, the Bush administration held it for five months, blacking out and deleting information it deemed to be "sensitive." The report does, however, explore oversights in FAA and airline policy that may have allowed the tragedy to happen. SEE THE REPORT |
