The bigwigs at Charles Schwab claim that they haven't taken a stance on Social Security privatization, but the AFL-CIO knows that's a lie. While other financial services companies have stopped lobbying for privatization in response to public outrage, the AFL-CIO reports that, "Schwab belongs to, funds and even takes leadership roles in several of the business groups pouring money into the fight to privatize Social Security ."
