Measuring Up?

By now, we've all got a pretty good idea of how many children are being left behind by the education system. But what about when college time rolls around, for those students who've worked hard to get there? That news isn't good, either. A new report from the National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education finds that, overall, American colleges get an F for affordability. The report also includes detailed, state-by-state data on students' readiness for college; the chances students have to attend college; and college degrees earned.
