Last week, recognizing the anniversary of the Madrid training bombing, the Club of Madrid held a summitt to adopt The Madrid Agenda, an outline of how nations can unite to combat global terror . Comprised of former heads of state from dozens of nations—including former President Bill Clinton—the Club is dedicated to strenghtening democracy throughout the world. The Madrid Agenda "is based on a common set of universal values and principles. Freedom and human dignity. Protection and empowerment of citizens.
