The Madrid Agenda

Last week, recognizing the anniversary of the Madrid training bombing, the Club of Madrid held a summitt to adopt The Madrid Agenda, an outline of how nations can unite to combat global terror . Comprised of former heads of state from dozens of nations—including former President Bill Clinton—the Club is dedicated to strenghtening democracy throughout the world.  The Madrid Agenda "is based on a common set of universal values and principles. Freedom and human dignity. Protection and empowerment of citizens. Building and strengthening of democracy at all levels. Promotion of peace and justice."  SEE THE REPORT
